Internal auditor

Due to the expansion of our internal audit team, IMC is currently offering a challenging role to an experienced auditor to be based in Amsterdam.
IMC needs an Internal Auditor in order to evaluate policies, procedures and internal controls against requirements of regulatory institutions and internal standards. The Internal Auditor will report to the Internal Audit Team lead.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Perform internal audits such as operational and IT audits and report audit findings including recommendations for improvement; this will require frequent travel to our Global offices.
Prepare audit programs for IMC Group companies and liaise with regulatory institutions on internal audit issues
Document audit files in internal audit application (TeamMate)
Collaborate and communicate with external auditors
Perform audits on request of IMC management and other stakeholders
Requirements:

Masters Degree
(almost) RA, RO, RE qualified and/or CIA, CISA certified
Preferred big four audit experience
3 - 5 years working experience mainly in audit
Interest in financial markets and asset management
Good understanding of Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Controls
Flexible and proactive with a hands-on mentality
Able to work effectively on your own as well as in a team
Strong documentation Skills and analytical skills
Confident in English as main business language; excellent communication, relationship-building and persuasion skills
Flexible to travel (30-40%)
The ability to act and perform successfully in a fast-moving and high-pressured environment
