The Role

To instruct and educate teammates in the areas of company policies and procedures, technical knowledge, & service teammate productivity. Must have outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills while demonstrating a positive, motivational, & professional appearance.

Must be proficient in MS Windows and MS Office Suite 2007 applications and be able to perform functions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Consistently seeks more effective methods of conveying knowledge to teammates.

Responsibilities

    Provides service specific training to Tesla Motors’ technicians on electric vehicles equipped with complex automotive/electromechanical systems (powertrain, passive restraint system, steering/suspension/brakes, thermal management).
    Provide specific & general training on High voltage DC systems.
    Deliver Technical Training courses across Europe.
    Prepare and develop training materials in close consultation with Service and Field Service Engineering.
    Assist with the operations at the Tilburg Training Center that include, but are not all encompassing: inventory, vehicles, room setup, service center contacts, phone calls and scheduling

Requirements

    Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with her/ his team and peers within the international training organization.
    Strong analytical problem solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, CAN or similar protocol analysis.
    Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
    Experience with environmental and safety requirements a plus.
    Excellent communication skills and demonstrated confidence and professionalism in working in a customer-facing role.
    Proven experience as Technical Trainer, and/or Technician.
    Strong automotive system repair knowledge and training experience.
    Fluent English, another additional European language is desirable.
    Skilled with common workplace and database software (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
    Frequent travel, must have valid Passport.
    Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

Job description

  • Responsible for leading packaging innovation and renovation projects, from start-up until implementation in production
  • Working with European marketing team on concept generation and development
  • Leading the technical project development by defining the requirements and planning all the experiments in order to develop the right technical solution in line with costs and planning
  • Validate implemented packaging and processes in production, and monitoring it to take learning from it for future developments
  • Providing expertise concerning new developments in packaging raw material and processing in order to contribute to new developments and cost price reduction
  • Initiating cost saving / quality improvement projects in close cooperation with different factories
  • Extending knowledge in the field of (cheese) packaging and packaging processing (with cheese cutting) trough technical studies
  • Working closely together with the teams of marketing, product development, operations and corporate R&D centres within the Bel Group
  • Reporting to the Packaging Development Manager

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technological or technical direction, combined with packaging knowledge
  • Several years of working experience within packaging development in an industrial environment
  • Technical knowledge of packaging materials and eager to learn about new technologies
  • A plus is the understanding of WCOM techniques
  • Strong project management skills and able to connect with people on several levels of the organisation
  • Good communication skills, with fluency in English and Dutch is an advantage
  • Personal skills: creative, analytical, curious, drive for results, networker, problem solver and helicopter view

On behalf of TNO Space you will be responsible for developing the space market. By identifying future space projects and being involved in these projects at a commercial level, you will proactively contribute to the TNO Space strategy. You identify current and future customer needs and market opportunities.

The position encompasses two main task areas: optical mechanical instruments for science missions (for instance for ESA) and earth-based astronomy (for ESO and other organisations).
You are part of the Business Development Team Space (6 FTEs) which focuses on four themes - Earth Observation Instrumentation, Space Science Instrumentation, Mission Critical Components and Space Data Utilisation. You work in a technical/commercial matrix organisation and report to the Commercial Manager and the Business Line Manager Space.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Management of sales and tender processes (from initiation, contract negotiations and contract closing to after sales;
• Gaining position within various consortia / prime contractors;
• Proactive role as sparring partner with a view to achieving business objectives;
• Identifying the needs of the market and establishing networks within (new) markets;
• Identifying future space projects;
• Implementation of the TNO strategy in the space market;
• TNO positioning and recognition within the space industry;
• Development of and linking up with relevant Business Cases;
• Consolidation of, initiating and developing contacts with (new) customers and stakeholders in the areas of upstream and downstream space.

Profile 

Preferably, you have a background and network in the space market. You have a proven understanding of complex business development processes and have experience as a sales manager, business developer or project manager, with a passion for technology. You are comfortable in both a technical/scientific and commercial environment.

In addition, you have:
• Knowledge of technical and consultative sales processes;
• The ability to maintain contacts and advise customers at various levels, preferably on strategic space industry issues;
• Knowledge of (future) space programmes;
• A proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment;
• An academic technical background (such as astronomy, physics, nuclear physics, particle physics electronics, applied physics);
• A good command of the English language (knowledge of Dutch is preferred, but not required).

The Internationalization Centre is searching for a software translator to join the team. The successful candidate will have mother tongue French and be a motivated individual that can learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment using up to date localization tools and methods. Duties will involve translation of the software user interface and documentation, namely Banner, Luminis Platform and Workflow to French and Canadian French. This role involves Localization Agencies and Partners in their processes so the winning candidate will assure quality and work with external companies as required. You will participate in the software localization process and help advise on changes which may be required to make a system more localizable.

Higher Education and/or Finance experience would be an advantage.
