Job Description
Customer Service Intern will work with the engineers on daily issue logs, lab infrastructure setups and onsite field support for Irdeto Middleware, Customer Care and Billing, Broadband and CA applications, and the hardware and software infrastructure that Service them. The CS Intern will work with his/her team members and other Irdeto resources to identify and resolve more difficult issues with the Irdeto applications in an effort to identify defects, influence the development of application workarounds and assist Irdeto Customer Service in resolving customer issues related to use of the Irdeto applications.

Required Skills
Verify code fixes that are part of the core product.
Assist Customer Service in bringing complex Service issues to resolution in a timely fashion.
Ensure that all Enhancements are captured and logged on CRM System
Develop knowledge of Irdeto software products and new system updates, as they become available.
Tracking issues on CRM/TFS.
Virtualisation of Setups
Support ATPs
Review documentation for completeness against actual.
Some travelling maybe expected at the end of the year programme once knowledge base of DVB is acceptable.
Complete at least one project for the CS EMEA Team
Ability to work independently and within a global team of hi-level professionals.

Required Experience
Knowledge of digital broadcasting, MPEG-2, DVB and IP systems
Windows Server 2003/2008 and SQL databases – preferably MS SQL 2005/2008.
Understanding of network infrastructure (vlans switching and routing).
Knowledge of IGMP and multicasting.
Experience with protocols and servers HTTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, NIS, FTP, TFTP, NTP.
.NET , XML\XSLT , Javascript/CSS/HTML, C#, PHP, AJAX
