The candidate has a doctorate in her/his specialty, or is in the final process of getting a doctorate; and she or he has an excellent record of academic publications and of teaching at university level that is commensurate to her/his current career stage.
The candidate should be able to teach courses related to her or his specialty, on BA and MA levels, but she/he should also be able to broadly contribute to the general teaching program of our Eastern European studies program, and of the European Studies Section as a whole. Tasks

I - International Relations and International Political Economy/Development Studies
The position combines teaching (60%) and research (40%) in the field of International Political Economy with an emphasis on issue areas related to Development Studies and North-South relations in particular.
