The New Product Solutions (NPS) group is the link between Product and Sales at Google. NPS helps take product innovations and turns them into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of their spend with Google. NPS team members ensure we have the right commercial strategy for our products and bring product expertise to Sales, enabling front-line Sales partners to sell effectively and quickly. The role: Solutions Specialist Performance Display
Actively help grow customer business as a sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As Solution Specialist Performance Display you are part of the Product & Solution Specialist (PSS) team, driving the performance display strategy and sales for Netherlands. You will report to the Head of PSS Benelux. PSS consists of branding and performance specialists covering the Google advertising products for search, Google Display Network (GDN), You Tube, and social. These products and product bundles are served on desktop PC, tablet and mobile devices. The PSS team is the in-country team responsible for the localization of product and sales strategies of Google?s advertising products for large advertisers. PSS is part of the New Product & Solutions (NPS) organization, which drives product adoption and solution selling globally. The primary role is to grow revenue with performance display solutions for top-tier brands and their media- and interactive agencies. You will collaborate with the sales teams in getting display budgets by driving knowledge and developing solutions for our advertisers. You?ll be a first class evangelizer ? able to build a productive team across all Google teams. Also be the leader and owner of projects for performance based advertiser goals. This is a high-adrenaline product & sales development role requiring deep expertise, proven business development ability with a particular penchant for realizing conversion goals, and a broad base of industry knowledge. You think strategically, anticipate how decisions are made, and you will persistently explore and uncover the specific business needs of our key clients. It is important to have a broad understanding of the display landscape to be able to cooperate with the Google Media Buying Solutions (DoubleClick, Invite Media, AdX) team to assure the best solution is positioned towards the customer.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with sales teams on key accounts to develop solution strategies
* Join in pitches & call in regional experts in complex pitches
* Story writing / localize value propositions & share best practices from abroad
* Provide input for revenue targets and KPI?s, based on regional targets and local market developments
* Track revenues & metrics, drive action plans to address shortfalls; Identify gaps in products & solutions for verticals & drive resolution with regional product teams


Minimum qualifications:

* BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).

Preferred qualifications:

* Ability to evidence strong business-development experience
* Extensive work experience within the digital arena, specifically in online performance
* Evidence of established relationships within the media marketplace and with agencies, and an excellent understanding of how agencies work
* A strong knowledge of AdServing, Automated Trading is preferred
* Outstanding written and oral communications skills coupled with superior business acumen, problem solving, strategic, project management and analytical skills
