VACANCY Document Controller

Your daily activities:

As Document Controller it is your job to maintain a controlled document retreival system containing technical drawings, instruction manuals and project information. You manage the technical archive, update documentation with modifications and report document progress. Next to this you ensure that all Asset Management members are familiar with the document control system. You report to the Lead Document Controller.

Asset Management
The Asset Management department is responsible for the Operational management of the fleet and her crew. Together with the crew and Project Management, the Asset Management department ensures a perfect preparation and execution of projects. To ensure optimum utilization of the fleet and her crew the department works closely together with all Asset related departments, H&R en Business development. The Asset department directs the planning of each vessel and mobilizes personnel and equipment in time for Project execution. The Asset Department supports projects and vessels worldwide and works close together with local authorities and ships agents.
You have:
  • Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) level
  • 2 years of experience within a technical project environment
  • Excellent office administration skills
  • Experience with Sharepoint and MS Office
  • Experience with an EDMS and/or Database System is a preference
  • Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken)
  • Good communication skills

Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) excels at transporting, installing and removing offshore facilities. These include fixed and floating structures, subsea pipelines and infrastructures in shallow, deep and ultra-deep water. HMC owns three of the world's largest semi-submersible crane vessels, the Thialf, Hermod and Balder. At this moment a new monohull vessel, Aegir, is built for HMC with the capability to execute complex deep water infrastructure and pipeline projects.
