We have the following vacancy in our Geoscience Division, with The Hague as place to work:
Reservoir Engineer
Your role
- ensure that the data necessary is acquired for an adequate reservoir description and understanding
- In development wells:
* establish the principle logging, testing and coring programme
* supervise logging operations and assist the Wells Section during the testing phase
- In producing wells:
* initiate monitoring operations, including pressure surveys and production logging, and establish their principle programmes
* ensure the follow-up of day-to-day production behaviour of the wells in consultation with the Field Operations Department
- responsible for interpreting all acquired raw data, such as logs and test interpretation, fluid analyses, petrophysical measurements, and for ensuring the interpretation and the reporting of the results
- plan, initiate, direct and carry out all necessary reservoir studies
- determine and propose the optimized development or complementary development scenario


Your profile
- MSc degree in petroleum engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years experience as Reservoir Engineer in Exploration & Production.
- Good knowledge (spoken and written) of English.

The EPO is currently recruiting patent examiners to work in Munich, The Hague and Berlin.

Who can apply?

Engineers and scientists with sufficient language skills. Please see our required profile section for details.
The job involves searching in online databases, analysing documents, communicating orally and in writing with patent applicants and their attorneys, and then taking decisions on the grant of patents valid in up to 38 European countries.
